Prescription information

In the United States, contact lenses — including cosmetic and colored lenses — are classified by the FDA as medical devices. That means you need a valid prescription to buy them, even plano (non-corrective) ones.

What we need

At checkout you will enter your prescription details: power (SPH), base curve (BC), diameter (DIA) and, for astigmatism, cylinder and axis.

Verification

We verify every prescription with the issuing practitioner before shipping. This usually takes less than one business day.

Expiration

Prescriptions are typically valid for one to two years. If yours has expired, please book an eye exam before ordering.
